Once again for the month of April 2023 the proceeds from our Alberta based 50/50 cash jackpot raffle will go to Rhinestone Horse Rescue Ranch in Red Deer, Alberta.
We have a BC based 50/50 running simultaneously in aid of Second Chance Cheekye Ranch.
Founded in 2016 the Rhinestone Horse Rescue Ranch is currently home to 45 horses.
If you reside in Alberta you can buy 50/50 tickets in support of Rhinestone Horse Rescue Ranch and if you do (and even if you don’t) live in Alberta, we hope you will also share our social media posts to help raise awareness about this amazing organization.
HORSE COLLAPSED ON LAURA
One of the horses in the care of Laura Watson at Rhinestone Horse Rescue Ranch had a stroke and during the chaos of the situation, the horse J Roy fell on Laura.
A veterinarian was called, and J Roy the horse had to be euthanized. 9-1-1 responded on behalf of Laura.
Laura will be out of commission and not able to effectively work with her horses because she broke her tibia in two places, right below the knee and at the ankle.
Any financial help via this Go Fund Me is greatly appreciated by Laura Waston of Rhinestone Horse Rescue Ranch – it will be used for the ongoing support of the 45 horses in her care and to pay the vet for the euthanasia of J Roy.
